In the Spirit of Service, We Receive
When we give and share resources with others, we also receive.
The Baker College of Auburn Hills - D.E.C.A. Club and Student Human Resource Management Club were very impressed with the services we provide our children and famil
ies and decided to "gift" us with resources to continue our efforts of Helping Youth See Say and Do Math!We are bursting with gratitude over the time, energy, and donations that resulted from their bowling fundraiser! We are also happy that this group of college students are willing to share their talents directly with our participants during upcoming program sessions.
If you have never considered a college intern, think again. Service learning provides a win-win for all. The skills this team exhibited were of the same caliber as an established marketing and event planning firm. This team delegated responsibilities based on their individual talents and influence to produce an event that was family friendly, classy, and results-oriented. They fine-tuned their skills while introducing businesses to our organization and opened the door for future opportunities within those companies. Very impressionable!
We believe all youth (ages 5 through college) should experience service learning. The reciprocal affect is contagious, continuous, and builds tenacity!
Check out these resources for a little inspiration to engage your young person:

We would love to hear your service-learning stories.
